Web Hosting
Hosting your website is just as important as creating it. If your host goes down, so does your website. I will help you
find the best hosting solution for your project. Continue reading to learn about the different types of Web Hosting.
Shared Hosting
Shared hosting is typically the most common request form of hosting. With a shared hosting environment,
your website is hosted on the same server as several other websites. This means that everyone on the machine shares the
costs of operation which means a lower cost to you. We monitor and maintain each server individually to ensure that no
single site is affecting the performance of any others.
Dedicated Hosting
Dedicated hosting is typically reserved for those websites that have very high usage of memory, hard
disk space, bandwidth, or CPU usage. Additionally, companies requiring a more secure system may not want to share with
others. Because there is no other companies or websites sharing the machine, the cost is significantly higher than that
of a shared server.
Managed vs. Unmanaged Hosting
Managed hosting is typically much more expensive, as the price includes server management from your hosting company. This type
of hosting is usually at least $100 every month. Unmanaged hosting is usually much cheaper, but requires that you manage the
server yourself. All administration of the system is left to you when using Unmanaged hosting. If something goes wrong, you
must fix it yourself.
If your web site is hosted with Migliorisi Design, our server team will manage your hosting for a much lower price than most
other hosting companies without sacrificing any quality. If you choose to host your site elsewhere, we will not be responsible
for anything that goes wrong.
